X-Ray / MRI / CAT SCAN
While we try to use minimal x-rays on patients, many times it is necessary in order to determine the exact problem. X-rays allow us to examine an area in much finer detail than we can just from an examination. Previous x-rays older than 1 year are not really usable since the structures may have undergone changes in either their bone content or position since the films were taken. Our Riverview facility is fully equipped to perform all necessary x-rays at the time of your visit. If an area looks suspicious Dr. Minafri may refer you out for a CAT(CT) scan or a MRI. These can be performed at any of our fine radiological facilities in the area.
